Approach
With Quomi, my goal was to design a portfolio and agency template that doesn’t just display work — it tells a story. I approached it as a framework where design, storytelling, and functionality come together, allowing freelancers, studios, and agencies to express their unique identity with clarity and confidence. Quomi balances bold typography, clean layouts, and generous whitespace, ensuring that your work remains the true centerpiece.
Vision and Inovation
The vision for Quomi was to build a system that adapts to the diverse ways creatives present themselves. Light and dark themes offer flexibility, while slideshow and ticker features add dynamic motion to keep content engaging. Built with CMS collections, sticky scrolling, and workshop-powered code components, Quomi elevates the portfolio template beyond static pages — turning it into a living, interactive showcase that grows with your career or agency.
Identifying Unique Challenges
Creative professionals face the challenge of standing out in a saturated market while maintaining professionalism and usability. Portfolios can easily feel either too minimal (lacking personality) or too busy (distracting from the work). Quomi solves this by combining minimal structure with expressive elements: custom cursors, subtle effects, and layout templates that allow for both storytelling and functional clarity.
